Dr. Tiffany Lu, O.D.
Dr. Lu received her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2007. She has a BS degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. During her clinical rotations she interned at VA Fresno, Dimmock and Whittier Street Community Health Centers in Greater Boston area, and New England Eye institute in Boston. While interning at these eye care clinics, Dr. Lu became experienced in evaluating ocular conditions from the pediatric to geriatric populations. Dr. Lu has a special interest in fitting hard-to-fit soft contact lens designs such as astigmatism designs(toric), multifocal, and monovision. It is also during training that Dr. Lu developed the goal to have her own private practice; to understand and attend to patients’ everyday needs.

After working two years as a staff doctor at multiple private practices in the bay area, Dr. Lu acquired Dr. Todd Adair’s practice, Capitol Optometric Center, in December 2009. Dr. Lu, along with the team of professional optical staff, will continue to provide great one on one patient care.

Dr. Lu specializes in soft contact lens fitting, computer vision syndrome(CVS), and dry eye syndrome. Her philosophy in patient care is to make sure the patient's occupational and lifestyle needs are met first, so patients can enjoy what they love.
