Doctor and Staff

Dr. Tiffany Lu, O.D.
Dr. Lu received her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. She has a BS degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis. During her clinical rotations she interned at VA Fresno, Dimmock and Whittier Street Community Health Centers in Greater Boston area, and New England Eye institute in Boston. While interning at these eye care clinics, Dr. Lu became experienced in evaluating ocular conditions from the pediatric to geriatric populations. Dr. Lu has a special interest in fitting hard-to-fit soft contact lens designs such as astigmatism designs(toric), multifocal, and monovision. It is also during training that Dr. Lu developed the goal to have her own private practice; to understand and attend to patients’ everyday needs.

Dr. Lu specializes in soft contact lens fitting, computer vision syndrome(CVS), and dry eye syndrome. Her philosophy in patient care is to make sure the patient's occupational and lifestyle needs are met first, so patients can enjoy what they love.

Dr. Lu is originally from San Jose, CA. She is an active member of the California Optometric Association(COA), and the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society(SVOS). In her free time, she enjoys reading and dining out with friends.

Interns
We support future optometrists and have UC Davis pre-optometry interns throughout the year. They may be shadowing our doctor and sitting in on your eye exams.
